Another (Less Than) 24 Hours
Sandwiched between the Sondheims.

dictated but not read
Last Thursday I made another whirlwind, under-24-hour trip to New York. This time to watch The Ferberizing of Coral with most of the New York-based cast & crew at Cinema Village as part of the New York Shorts International Film Festival.
A great time was had by all, the movie was very well received, and we all celebrated accordingly.
But what was more amazing in that under-a-day timespan was how many people I ran into that I knew. In the first 30 minutes that I was there, I bumped into 3 people who do not live in New York that I know and hadn’t seen in a minute in and around the train station. And later in the day, I ran into 2 more at the Drama Book Shop.
It gave the whole sprint-of-a-trip a very small town feeling which made the screening itself even more special.
Which is why it’s now even more exciting to let you know The Ferberizing of Coral will be at the Rehoboth Beach International Film Festival in November! Ticket info below in the “Coming Soon” section.
We keep on rolling!

Sadie Mouse Wrecks the House
Four-time Emmy-winning writer and one-time Jeopardy!-loser Elliott Kalan (currently writing the new Ghostbusters animated series) has a new children’s book out with illustrator Tim Miller entitled Sadie Mouse Wrecks the House about a good mouse gone bad. It’s a huge hit in our house and I know it will be in yours. Head to your favorite book provider and give it a get!
And there is absolutely no reason I am reposting this “friends” post that I already posted a few weeks ago to bring it back to the top your minds. None at all. Nope. You should just buy the book and not think that there might be another post related to it soon.
None at all.

OFF 2 BROADWAY - TITLE SONGS - Episode 44 (feat. Patrick Flynn)
5(ish) years ago, I had the privledge of appearing on this wonderful (and then nascient) podcast about what was going on on Broadway from the POV of two Toronto-based fans. Unfortunately, they started their podcast in early 2020. Fortunately, they weathered the storm and are still doing yeoman’s work to this very day. So check them totally out on your podcatcher of choice. (Link to my episode by clicking on the image.)
